DIY Wheels - Hollow Wheels - Very Comfy

Oh wait. @TheGoodMomentum I have 10mm axles on my build. I ordered a set, should I cancel it?

can you not run the funny 10mm id bearings? or use them on another board?

Also I bet you could sell them for more than $99 later

Nah keep em. What I meant is that he had them set up on 8mm boosted axles. The bearing in the wheels was 8mm ID and I did not have a 12mm ID Bearing I could pop on the wheel to test with my board.

Ahhhh that’s why I couldn’t turn :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: I’m 117lb’s

As much as I see this a very clever idea to avoid stock. I can see some people complaining about this idea some are very set on there opinion of one or the other and you website said you email to confirm what people wanted.

I think your part of the company that was looking at a new Slanted spoked core thin urethane layer for boosted boards saying you making the best wheel ever because of it been a bunch of engineers saying it outperform every thing in every category. As a non engineer with a lot of comen sense I look at the design and had absolute 0 faith in it been achievable. @TheGoodMomentum How did you get from that design to this? Sorry if I’m getting confused with another project by some one else.

I’m also interested if you thort about product coming to market soon such as https://sharkwheel.com/95mm-78a-transparent-blue-for-non-electric-boards-only/
It’s a different aprotch to dealing with stones by throwing them to the side instead of absorbing them was this type of thought about or compared to in testing?

Just for clarity I ordered a set last week but hugely sceptical of new products as thay have a history of a lot of promises that don’t get supported when things go wrong. What swayed me with opening my wallet was the taking note of what was said on the forum and the comparisons with wheels popular on the forum.

Honestly m8 it was really hard to understand what you are even trying to say, but I do agree about the mismatched wheels

Feels a bit weird, if I have kegel (more visually appealing imo) I would think that all four would be the same look, not two and two.

Again not really sure exactly what this means but common sense engineering knowledge. From the common sense side, did you give the product page a good read? There is a lot of good information available there

Also if people run 4x4 they will get a nasty suprise

Lol true unless you have a bunch of mismatched pulleys laying around

That’s the exception, not the rule. There should be a warning about this on the site to include it in the order notes. The advantage of 1/2 the SKU’s is wayyyy more than one or two AWD builders having to write a note with their order or be shipped the right wheels etc. This guy needs to make money to stay alive and keep innovating.

I disagree with this… :eyes: but agree with the SKU and warning part. :call_me_hand: all the guys I ride with ride 4wd.

two or three AWD using these wheels***

either way my point stands
