Correction to this manual. Mounting hole pattern is listed & drawn as 80x40mm, the correct measurements are 90x40mm.

Here’s the source STEP hosted on Fusion: https://a360.co/2uCNH5Q

I was going to post this on ESB, but that whole place seems like a ghost town these days.

Here’s my question.

Technically there could be a difference in resistance if your B- cable is much longer, etc, but it would be so minor I highly doubt it would make any difference. This should be just fine.

I have a diebie question…
how does one use the can bus on the diebie if you use 2 single vescs over can?

you add the Diebie in between the two vescs with a parallel connection

that’s what i thought, cheers!
does one need all 4 pins or is can h and can l enough?

I would think that the pos and neg should be left off, but this is pure, uneducated speculation.

This is in the manual.
And luckily you’re both posting in “DieBieMS manual” thread.
So not that hard to find the answer.

If you want to have push to start on diebie then you’ll also need to connect + and -

Any chance people saved some of the wiring examples from the other site’s original thread? it appears they no longer work/all of the site hosted images for that thread are dead…

@Pimousse @linsus do you happen to know what switch is best for the diebie? 3-8V? 12-24v?
and how many A? just 2A?

you mean the power on switch?

yep

any switch is fine  logic is 3.3V and it doesnt pass much current

You mean an illuminated switch ?
If so, the integrated led should be 3.3V as @linsus mentioned.

Any SPST momentary switch will be perfect !

I personnaly found a big and thin one for saving some previous mm in the enclosure :
