We do garage racing when it’s rainy. Just last Thursday we did a session for Rainy Shredmond.

Very fortunate to have drone flyers (@poastoast is one of them!).
So, there were two heats first one was normal I guess and second was considered finals. But since there’s only 4 of us so we just ran it back. My leg was shot after the first I didn’t think I’d race another one, but prep time gotta suck it up.

I’ll see about getting ahold of some cones. I think if we did a weekly thing at Marymoor it might become very popular and we’d eventually get a crowd of onlookers. Then we could get a food truck just like the Friday night races at the velodrome 
I also should check with the Parks department about putting small paint spots on the pavement. Not sure if they will allow this or not. I’ve talked to them before about some stuff we did at the soccer fields, they are really nice guys.

Thanks yes that’s me. Corners well until I don’t haha, forgot to brake hard going into that corner I wiped out in.
I don’t know if anyone caught it but I picked up that red cone in the last lap of heat 1. Was stuck under the board until finished lol.

Haha. Skill issue. That corner was giving me trouble all day fell at least 3-4 times. I think I also have this mental block of I shouldn’t run over cones, so I fall because I try to slow down. Next time Imma just run them over and ask for forgiveness lol.

Put in the new motors, man been on the small motors so long I forgot how big these things are lol.
Preliminary bench testing went well, no faults. They sound oddly quieter. Just waiting for my Radium adapter plates so that I don’t need to go cutting any shafts. Should hopefully arrive tomorrow. Then @poastoast and I ball, likely in parking garages though

Also, upgraded my gloves as they were not holding up well to racing.

Just noticed the wear on my heel side tires after I2S. We’ll see how much longer it lasts. Might rotate it for the upcoming race.

Hmmm I never considered that since I don’t think I’ve crashed lol. I’ll check. But it’s also both front and rear.
Maybe they didn’t really flatten out, mine seemed like they still had low spot in the middle even after inflating them to 60
