First photo without the angle riser thingo.
I’d say it’ll work well either way?

how do you fit a davega to a prototipo
the bottom of the baseplate hits the flat bit of the deck so it cant sit flush with the angled part of the deck (sorry if i explained badly)

thanks

Even if you mount the baseplate all the way up? Note that you can rotate the baseplate 180 degrees to get extra mounting positions.

fully up (and rotated) its nearly flush but still not guite
small gap between deck and the baseplate

will it make a difference

@Halbj613 what about chamfering the baseplate a tad so it fits?
shouldn’t be too hard with a file or dremel

heck even an exacto blade can cut a bit of aluminium

is the blue coloring just on the surface or all the way down?

also may do but will make it a bit messy

I see. Strange that nobody reported this before.

Maybe a cleverly designed riser under the baseplate would help. Quick sketch:

How does yours extend over the end of the deck
On mine it won’t go that far
Furthest it can go

I’m just using the holes that were there when I got the deck. Maybe your might be missing some? I’m not really sure at the moment.

Maybe the holes vary slightly in location

I think Sean might have the v1 baseplate. These are extremely rare. We only had about 10 made. They will be worth a fortune one day.

The hole pattern on these was different. Not asymmetrical. Maybe they work better in this particular use case though.

Edit: Ha, I found this one:

This is exactly why it works for me! Nice find!

I finally found some time to work on the firmware. v4.8 is coming soon. Here’s a demo of one of the new small features – the range ramp up.

The range ramp up allows estimating the range based on both session and lifetime data for the first X kilometers traveled. Initially, the range is calculated from the lifetime consumption only but as you are approaching the X kilometers, more weight is given to the session consumption and eventually the range is based on the session consumption only.
