so happy you’re rolling on Nylon spacers now… I did a mega-ton of high-speed carvy-zoom-zooms on these TB ATs… they just don’t wanna die!

My tires at 50psi were almost as hot as my motors this afternoon…

I honestly can’t fathom the tire wear at like 35psi… I rode them once at like 40 and it was like plowing thru mud!

Yessir. 1257 Parallel Universe. Found your 2020 reveal video, I’d actually watched it when it dropped and I want you to know me and the other mech leads creamed our pants when we watched it. That’s a damn good bot you got there.

brother… I have a possible project for you… have you ever seen @idea mounts?

It’s kinda like a g-bomb truck… but it’s a truck extension that mounts to an existing board, and provides rise and extension…

I can make the CAD, I’d like them out of 7000 series Ali… but it’d take them in 6061 T6…

they’s be 15mm or so thick by let’s say 200mm a profile then maybe a 15mm baseplate with huge 5/8" ansi threads… maybe 10-20 profiles… (i’ll try n find an image)

I know this is cryptic… but it’s by intension… does this sound like something you’re comfortable producing?

Kook, id be happy to help.

A picture would help greatly. And if you can design the part, I am more than happy to machine them!

brother we shall speak… I can make the CAD models… fusion360 ok with you?

I’m still searching for some pix… I know I have them… @idea made some beautiful truck-extension mounting plates… I wish something similar for 3-link race trucks…

I’ll PM you when I have something visual to look at…

I am a solidworks/onshape guy, but yea fusion works fine. Cam for the haas is done in fusion and I can always export models into onshape if need be.

Yeah man PM with more info.

in roundish numbers how many dollars an hour of machine time do you think you want… you want enough to make it worth-while… but ya know we’re both in learning mode…

If you feel uncomfortable speaking budget numbers… we can take this to PM… and… would you rather I supply bulk material or do you have source?
