I had issues with crappy walls due to stock fan vent replaced with bulls eye and thay went away try printing with fan way lower see if it helps make sure the printer is in a location awy from deaths and heat sources
if you want to start fine tuning your printer for accuracy and better results.

I can’t seem to get any bad prints from this machine. After I learned and understood bed leveling, heat, and cooling it seems like all prints just turn out near perfect. I’ve only printed in PETG and PLA so far though.

Those are all parts I use on my sla printer I just got.
2nd picture is part of a ventilation system for it. Resin smells like shit and I live in a tiny city apartment.
This helps soooooo much.
3rd is a funnel that locks onto the resin bottles. It’s been the part I’m most thankful for lately.
The 5th is a bed leveling part that I haven’t used yet. I might if it starts getting harder to level this thing.
Those pieces all look really good. I’ve also been getting great prints with little trouble, but only printed PLA so far. Got a couple rolls of PETG coming in tomorrow, so hopefully that continues. Did you do anything special or upgrades specific to print PETG? What’s the bullseye thing on the extruder and what print Bedard you using?

I upgraded the feeder to an all metal one, capricorn tube, and glass bed.

The glass bed helps a ton with bed leveling actually. Since it sits higher up the springs are tighter which makes the bed leveling for me usually only takes a minute or two…
The springs I got with the metal feeder help too. They’re way tighter. So it takes way less to get them somewhere and keep them there.
I need like smaller springs in mine… mine are almost fully cranked down:joy: Can’t wait til the next time I can use the heat gun so I can put my all metal hot end on
Nice. I’ll check those out. I’m still running bone stock and this thing kicks ass. Still amazed that a $150 3D printer can produce stuff like this right out of the box.

Need to increase part cooling fan a bit when the edges start curling up.
Do a flowrate test heat the hot end up to temp measure 120mm of filament from the extruder steeper motor.
Tell the printer to extrude 100mm. Re measure see how much went in
Then check the flow rate print a cube 1 wall thick no top or bottom with 0.5mm wall thickness and measure with callipers
See if you over or under extruding
Try 0.2 layer height it’s more forgiving and faster.
Print a 20 by 20 by 20mm cube see if it is the correct size
My extruder was set to 93.00 steps I had to up it to 100.10 steps to be accurate then drop the flowrate down to 90% with PLA+
I’d like to print a larger one too, but I’m afraid of how long the print will take. This one’s the size of a golf ball, perfect for the pull chain for the switch on my shop light, and it took like 6 hours to print. A max size print on the Ender might take better part of a week.

Also I have done the e steps, but I have been told this is done with extruding filament at the nozzle here, but watched a video where the tube was disconnected and they measured what was pushed through the extruder motor. I got very different results both ways.
