Hi Dani, aluminium can snap no matter of design. Steel has much better properties and titanium combines all the good properties of both worlds. But like I said. It’s not a must have.
This is wrong on the very basic level.
Talking about material properties without tying this to a particular design is pointless.
Titanium used to be regarded as a savior of the aerospace world back in the 50-60s.
Together with the improved material properties over aluminum, it also has shitty machining properties, and it’s expensive.
That’s why it never took off.
Good luck,
Dani
Thank you for your concerns. We will keep it in mind!

Vesc 6 is the best ESC
Pretty sure the focbox unity follows? (I know it’s unreachable which is a shame, nonetheless it’s a great product.)
Without counting the original focbox which aren’t in production anymore.
The maytech vesc is super expensive, not too sure if it is that much worth it in a production board.
Both VESCs are superior to the unreliable Enertion Unity. The Maytech has the higher build quality compared to the FS, but the FS is much more compact considered it is a dual ESC.
But we will see on the stress test how they hold up.
Dang, didn’t realize a Maytech 6 single was a such a monster. Thing is massive! Agreed, you ought to throw a VESC6+ into the mix.
you can buy it on amazon now with 2 day shipping. just fyi
It’s mostly only for the USA, it becomes extremely unprofitable for any other countries in the world.
Buy it from bioboards. It’s got properly gauged wires and bullets too.
Unprofitable compared to what?
Ordering directly from Enertion at a discount only for it to be delayed 8 months?
If you have a friend, or even a forum member to re-ship it, it wouldn’t be that bad considering the only other alternatives is to order direct from enertion, or pay price gouged forum prices
Thanks but we are not interested in Enertion products at all.
Wise choice
Drop the flipsky too, lots of DOA.
Ours works fine.
It’s progressing
Any pics of the guts?
