Quite interested to this to see where it goes. This just might tide me over to start gathering components to build my first DIY board. Bonus points if there ends up being a US distribution point or VX1 I can bundle.

I already am buying 50 units and i’ll stock overstock in my store. So it will be probably only 8mm axle, because as I said elsewhere 10mm is only needed by like 5% and everyone, including me, already has pulleys for 8mm. I can sell my 15/16/17T steels for 5$ each with these as they should fit.

This is my understanding. I have one of these Enhanced Smart switches and it works really well. Leeches a little bit of current for me, but nothing major. Kick to start and auto-off are the shit.
