Wow, that’s very interesting… I had to ditch the chubby due to my 45x being wack, at least I thought 
So I’m struggling with my chubby (ha) atm. Fitted everything into the housing. Looks great, but when I go to close, there seems to be a short somewhere. Even if it’s switched off, the red light comes on when closing the 2 pieces together. Couldn’t see any evidence of why. Anyone else had that happen?

I like all of them. I prefer the trigger more but sometimes it’s easy to accidentally touch it and your board goes off or you go off
Is this still a option. I don’t really need 5-10 quantities of each items through eBay

Why doesn’t this mod have a 5v to 3.3v buck converter like the other mini remote mods?
Because it uses a diode in series to drop the voltage by 0.7v
But feel free to use converter instead

My solution was the following, just run it to the side a little bit:
It will probably also help to clip the pins a little.

Yup, it’s me, bumping a two year old thread like a fucking noob! But since I have the attention of you fellow fans of this awesome little remote…
Is anyone sitting on a extra 1-3 of these bad boys they are willing to part with? Will pay cash (PayPal) or trade goods if you prefer other people’s carelessly hoarded ESK8 parts to the sensible option.
@mods please tell me to move this to a WTB thread if I have broken the rules.

I just found one of these the other day that I never got around to assembling 
I even printed a case for it in cool blue-to-white heat changing filament.
