There exists puck shells that make it into the least popular remote throttle design out there.

I don’t see anything commercially available. What, do you expect me to DIY something?

If crayons were only sold in red, then red would be the most popular crayon color. That would not imply red was the best crayon color.

No one is preventing the creation of blue crayons, yet all the best crayons are red

Everybody knows green crayons are the best.

This build is awesome

Build is insane, and agreed a good trigger remote would be nice. I always debate the Trampa wand with the trigger attachment, but soooo expensive.

Yeah I’ve had them delaminate at 165A motor current

This is one reason why I went for 3WD

Because only three cores still holding solid? Same set of wheels?

Three ESCs each have a receiver, in metr you can switch which ESC is the master on the CANBUS.

It’s a different set of wheels, just prevention hopefully.

Why 3 rather than 4?

There is not space for 4

Even if I could fit the motor, there isn’t room for another phase wire connector or another ESC. Mostly the phase wire connector.

Some day I’ll dig through some adhesive research to try and repair mine :sleepy:

The grip I used is ā€œ#60 grit aluminum oxide white sand blasting abrasive blast cabinet mediaā€ and it seems to work really well so far. It feels like really good grip tape, and not at all like glass frit or anything.

ā€œ#60 gritā€ is FUB for 254μm

This is really pretty damn cool! What do you imagine your top speed would be?
What kind of a turn radius can you get?

If you kicktail turn, the turn radius is somewhere around the wheelbase x)

This thing is really cool :sunglasses:

Such creativity and ingenuity !

… This here tho is kinda crazy

The top speed should be somewhere around 50km/h (30mph), not sure right now.

ZERO

Functional kicktails for the win

I can do a 180° in place, around the back wheels.

First I have to find five spare hours. Depleting this battery is very difficult
