Cheap drop through truck bracing brackets

What is the reason to have 3 different models?
Edit: Just user preference?

Full enclosure for complete protection, open ended for that style of board, modular for the minimalist.

Thank you!

Do you have any plans of making a bracket that allows you to mount your trucks further out than the deck intended? Some of us have custom made those, but it would be lovely to have a readily available option.

For my next board I want to get the bushings setup right. Looking forward to get a full setup from you.

Look up g-bomb brackets

Those are my inspiration  but for normal decks and normal trucks, and maybe cheaper than a new complete longboard?

@IDEA is working on some brackets like that and all of his stuff is fucking awesome. Gimme a sec I’ll get you his insta

yeah his SH~t is awesome… I’m looking at some spring-steel suspension-esqe extensions so I can ride a stiff board, with a solid battery underneath, but the truck extensions ad a bit of suspension…

Oh yes, I PMd him when he teased some first prototype couple months ago. Totally forgot!

Hey @IDEA, do you have anything ready to test? I still love what you do!

Sounds lovely. Let me know if you find anything (that is also stable at speed)!

stiff=speed
springie=carvy + comfie… I’m traveling in a different direction than you on this project!

Last time I spoke with him he said his website will be ready in April I think… looking forward to that.

I see, well, that’s also a good purpose. Might give it a shot if it exists. There is one dude here who makes these swingarm carve boards - if he adds a suspension to them, that would be a dream!

April is great for his webpage!
But I would love to get a pair off brackets sooner ^^

I’m just looking at a “lively” carving board that one could at a fairly substantial rigid battery to, but still have it carve like a flexy-bamboo board… I’m looking at simplicity and economics and something fun… one of my other projects is a torture machine that the rider must adapt to superior handling… but I digress…

i “think” you should edit the title of this thread to say “cheap” as Resonable is subjective and there are at least a couple of us that agree that @RipTideSports is reasonable…

On point.

I don’t have the measures, but it looks good apart from one flaw: I think the link should be on the side of the two holes (board middle side). some trucks peek out more to the front.
edit: another issue is that the link should be after the last hole, with a bit of space.

if you make a link on both sides (O-style), the outwards facing link (with three holes) need to be a bit further out.

here are some photos of a Paris and a Gullwing truck:
