What are the best 9 inch tires for going fast that can also carve too. Or is it better to go with Nova or kenda 8 inch tires?
I don’t know what his top speed is but I don’t think the tires are the limiting factor
That would depend on more than tyre size, combining motor kv and gearing as well.
Have you tried using one of the esk8 calculators out there and play with the settings to find out what would be best?
I keep hearing people say 9 inch tires arent balanced well and can be unstable I know trampa sells innova 9 inch tires that look pretty good I’d prefer to go 9 inch over 8 forsure. Also your build is going to be similar to mine im also getting a tomiboy custom deck and going with tito trucks
I know how to get the speed I just am making sure I’ll have tires that can handle it I dont want to speed wobble out from having bad tires.
I mean regular esk8 9" tires can be quite wobbly yeah. Gokart slicks should be good though, and speed rated.

Any big tire is gonna feel pretty heavy and lethargic

So far I did 70 km/h / 43mph on the tires. I don’t ride street anymore, and that was the max that the straight at the track allowed. Zero complaints, really good tires for high speed.
Pretty uncomfortable for general riding on bad roads.
Pretty good grip, but very hard to heat up properly. Unless fully up to temperature they definitely sacrifice grip compared to linnpowers or BRPs. And they don’t work as well on certain types of surfaces.

Even on 4x4 drive?
That’s gonna make it feel even worse. I have a 4wd 9" build and it feels like it’ll level a group of pedestrians

kenda is very lite and great for top speed but sometime it can slip , i noticed a decrease of acceleration with the nova 8 inch but they are so grippy i prefer the nova , more surface contact
for race track i will go with 6- 7’'nova
