Can vesc 6.6 plus run 13s?

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has run 13s on a vesc 6.6 plus without any issue

Regardless of what esc if you’re doing regen it’s worth staying further from high voltage as when braking you have a voltage spike.

13s Liion is unsafe on most “60v” escs, especially with flipsky

@jack.luis has run 13s on a xenith (or unity, not sure) without issues but its a risk you probably shouldn’t take

Unless u want more speed, and you’ll actually use it, will likely be less efficient. Maybe run the field weakening software if u want more speed

I heard it was pretty safe. The few people I’ve read who were using seemed to be happy with it.

I have a perfect space to test it. I’ll have some of my friends accompany to make sure I’m okay and I’ll be fully geared up.

I’m too old and already injured for that. Maybe will put it on my soon-to-be bike…if 40mph doesn’t satisfy.

Bunch of people were running 13S on OG focbox.
I know Deckoz was, maybe @Dareno too?

Isn’t it just a matter of not going over a certain erpm?

Not on v6 I believe. On v4 the eRPM limit was 60k, which presented problems when using high KV motors in 12S. v6 has a 150k limit, which is very difficult to reach with what we use.

Why do it? I feel like u can get the torque you want with two vescs easily at 12s, and maybe even worse efficiency at 13s, and then maybe blow up and land on face.

I get bike flipping torque with one Vesc and a hub motor on 50v

I don’t know, I am building a 12s right now before that I was on 10s for the longest time.

I’d do it if I had the room in the enclosure just for science.

I use 13s on focbox for ages, question has to be is a flipshit 6.6 as good as OG focbox.

And I found 13s totally unnecessary BUT really really fun lol

Can confirm. I set my hummies up on 13s on ESCapes and I feel i would have been disappointed on 12s.

OP, FWIW the only flipsky 6.6 i ever used lasted 3.2km on 10s and blew up.
