The older versions of the FSESC 6.6 (commonly referred to as the BIG version) are actually very reliable. I’m on the second one for my MTB build pushing 80A motor and 60A battery each side and have no complaints

Got already almost a thousand km on my AT with 13s dual fsesc6.6 (not plus nor mini, the big one).
A part of my daily commute is rough road but I didn’t brought the board to any punishing off-road trail.
Dun have steep hills either.
No hard braking while the battery is still in high state of charge.
Most of all I dun go 60km/h full speed.
I figured that dangerous spikes tend to occur during high duty cycle operations. I do hard acceleration but I refuse to go top speed knowing this.

I find with flipsky will either die in days is last for ages.
OP: if I was going to try 13s I would make sure I had a ‘good one’, make sure its happy with 12s first before attempting it.
