Trying to align 2 gears perfectly while they are spinning in insane rpm is asking for trouble, and we r talking about 2 for motor and 2 for wheels per side. No thanks, I will take a straight cut any day

What hobbies arent lol. All things considered not sure about you guys but Esk8 is probably one of my cheapest hobbies, I’ll probably make 1-2 more boards and a onewheel/funwheel/floatwheel or two so I have a good selection (and spares for friends) and stop building less something ground breaking comes out.
Homelab on the other hand… thats a money pit - but then again knowledge is power

, pretty sure you’d bottom out from compression of the wheel on bumps.
I have them mocked up with popocas. You could get by with them, but I wouldn’t advise.
