What about 6380 or 6384?

Both 6380 and 6384 are no problem for 220mm

What is the distance between the motor mount plates on these gear drives when mounted on BN220 hangers?

Will AT version be for BN trucks or for Matrix trucks?

prob either, and uses something like 3 gears to allow more reasonably sized ones to be used I would guess.

3 gears would mean smaller gear ratios, for AT you want more like 1:4 and 1:5 so the added center to center from the larger gears will make the motors sit far enough away

hmm maybe we will get a plastic wheel gear then.

I have no plans to make any 3 gear drive. The AT version is basically a scaled up version for matrix II

It would be very easy if I made my own Matrix hanger and had it mount to only that. Again, the more options, the higher the price has to be. I’d much rather make a high quantity of one design than 10pcs for each and every hanger to exist

I’m down for a BN matrix ll hanger with my gear drives.

Especially if you’re able to make the axles removable.
It would open up options for urethane builds on Matrix ll trucks.

So the hanger would end in the same profile as the other hangers, with the same axle thread as the 270s?

Sounds awesome.

Interested to see the hanger shape!

I think the easiest and cheapest thing to do would be a square profile like the trampa board.

It’s my dream to design all day but sadly I cannot begin that process yet :anguished: I should have some concrete designs done in 1 month

just to keep loading it on, you would also make an adjustable baseplate for it too?

@Boardnamics I think Quinn just want’s you to make all his drivetrains from now on, you need to add deck protectors and wheel hubs then you are golden, give 3DS a run for their money and steal all the customers Janux left in his wake!

There is a whole market full of plastic gears already LOL

The motor mount plate looks pretty simple; could one conceivably replace it with a lasercut piece w/ a custom motor mounting pattern?

It has a circular pocket for the adapter piece so that might be tricky. It’s not all 2D
