Yo, what you need?

I don’t have a stock of BN parts though

I have my motors reverse mounted and i think my motors are scrapping my hanger but it could be also hitting bumps with the 1 inch of clearance it has. If i ride a bit while my motors r scrapping the hanger, will it just grind down the hanger to have enough clearance or destroy my motors?

It’ll fuck up the motors, the sharp impact on the end of the can will create a lot of stress on the can and maybe tweak it over

Oh, if i mount it fowards, i only gain .5 inch of ground to motor clearance and im not sure if thats enough for nyc. Bumps might just directly hit the motors first so idk which is worse.

12.7mm
do sig figs apply to unit conversions?

Dang bro, if you hit a crack too hard your motor is probably gonna get sanded

Just cover the motor can in griptape

Done!

Started at 23:30, it’s 3:40… yeah, probably not gonna do it again, particularly not on a board i get to work with
@ShutterShock it does hit the hanger if it’s pushed but i’m more worried about getting pebbles stuck rubbing in there

Would you have this issue with 6355 on 270s?

Also, what baseplate angle are you running there?
Do you think a steeper angle would’ve prevented/alleviated some of this issue?

If you want to reverse mount, absolutely

It is actually so tight i had to shave off from the corner edge of the hanger (about 2mm), plus that stilish rib

It’s boardnamics 50/40 set, so 40°.
It would give more clearance, but i would have kept this same angle

Also, final note: it can definetly, easily fit 6384 motors (10mm more), but not 6396/100/105 and absolutely not 68xx motors

Yup. I have the bits here, but haven’t had time to mock up.

Tb6355s and 270s.
Just interested in drop through options.
Concerned re motor clearance and hangers motor.

Randal 30degree rear hopefully

If you get a hummie, it is thicc, so drop-through will be a pain on clearance if the motor does not get out of the perimeter of the deck.
What i curiously noticed though, a 6355 fits perfectly up to the side of the deck, so shaving off about 5mm from each side could give interesting results

Awesome, cheers.
Yup have a Hummie so may have a crack at something like that.
Not 100% on whether I’m gonna go drop through but will see
