And trusting their QC including the material lol
And sending thousands of dollars into a black hole in china to hope the parts arrive in a month
I mean I wish but I donāt know if Iām big time enough for pcbway
Lol I wouldnāt characterize PCBway as a black hole
@Boardnamics
If thereās no more straight cut gears can I get the $64 from my purchase last year back now?
No - but obviously Kevin is not using pcbway, I was talking about finding a different supplier
Gear drives out of stock but might do one last group buy from BN directly if demand is enough
Yes please!
OMG please do those 170mm that you did one run of. Instead of 184mm. And straight cut M1 wheel gears.
Kevin @Boardnamics
Are wheel pulleys going to be made again?
Iām especially after the larger 44t ones.
Sooooo @Boardnamics thereās a lot of interest in another run of straight cut gears for the m1-at
Can we get that going? Or can you give me the CAD I need to do it myself?
Thanks and I love you
Radium make super sweet 45T ones
And they were on sale!!!
I did not know about thoseā¦
So excited to get more radium parts.
The few things I had were so nice
Itās tough to stock stuff because Boardnamics pricing only made sense back when I would buy batches of items (at least 50 units at a time).
As much as I want to make small items like the pulleys available again, it wouldnāt be worth doing unless the prices of items went up by at least 100%.
@b264 There is a chance I can make a pair of 170mm, but its considered a 1-off part and therefore will cost a pretty penny; Iād say around $200.
A post will be made about getting a group buy in order. Although, it might require a small deposit for each kit because getting as much as 10 pairs made is not an insignificant amount of money (a few grand).
I expect everything would still sell at 100% higher pricesā¦
Everything in the world has gone up so much.
Itās not like there are many other choices for good aluminum pulleys⦠Or motor mountsā¦
I think 170 is a much better size than 184ā¦
If only one can be the default it should be 170ā¦
Something very good to be manufactured would be the M1 adapter for the radium kegal wheels
