I wish you would try using them before bashing me.
The matrix III profile does not fit within a 30mm circle. This was the closest it could be. As you can see, it barely punctures the surface.
These are NOT defective. This is intentional.

I absolutely reject most of that. You sold a âfit for purposeâ product that has defects clearly visible, there is no meat in those areas youâve milled out. The tolerance is pathetic at best with the adaptor fit to the truck will wobble rotationally. Fuck that. It needs to be bogged up regardless. What if the wheel does come off? Is that unheard of? What holds it on then? Love?
Itâs ok Kev, you just keep being you and Iâll fix this in my own time but will be with very little thanks to you or the quality of the products youâve delivered.
If your wheels falls off, then thatâs the least of your worries. Anyone whose wheels fall off on the regular has no business building these machines.
Like I said, it isnât a defect. The profile of matrix III doesnât fit inside the 30mm circle. Itâs nothing more than a visual defect. Performance is what matters.
The adapters are machined on the looser side by design. From a customer experience perspective, whatâs worse? An adapter thatâs loose that can be shimmed easily or one that doesnât fit at all? Would hate for someone to have to sand their trucks down.
I guess we have different opinions on what we call a âvisual defectâ⌠it does look to me like there is slightly more than fuck all material there on that side⌠the other side is thicker.
For the last time, thatâs the way matrix III profile fits within 30mm circle. The broken out side is the side with the 2mm fillets.
Chill out dude. Those adapters will work fine.
They have enough aluminum to work as intended and you wonât see the ugly part anyway, as it goes inside of the gear drive.
I got the gear drives on my drift trike. They are a little loose but does not affect anything. If anything them being lose helps the gears not take on as much abuse. A drift trike will push all these esk8 parts to there limits sense you can throttle and brake as much as you want without worrying about flying off like a normal esk8 or even a board your strapped into. Long story short if they work like a charm on my drift trike and my drift trike is going to push them way farther then an esk8. The wiggle is not an issue.
Put them on and ride them. They dont need a set screw. The wobble is a good trade off for the set screw that makes the gear drives uneven. The only other steel gear drive option only works on trampa trucks. You should be happy to have these gear drives. They can take so mush abuse.

yes but sad kevin closed the shop
Good morning Kevin, are you selling through the website again?
I ordered straight cut gears a year ago and he has yet to ship, so no i donât think he is open for business.
I thought he, or maybe someone else, was still shipping the stuff that is in stock, but it may take a while. I ordered something in late January, and it got shipped out under 2 weeks later. I actually just ordered the adjustable baseplates 5 days ago, which were marked as in stock. Iâll try to remember to update if/when it ships.
If it turns out BN is out of the adjustable base plates I have a set of very lightly used ones i will let go of .
