Boardnamics M1-AT Drive | Helical Steel MTB/AT Gear Drive

spacer, thanks for correcting me.

So the correct stack order is…
Hanger
Adapter
Gear
Medium spacer
Bearing
Large spacer
Bearing
Small spacer
Nut

…?

He’s not entirely wrong. It might be that an axle bushing is technically flanged, but a “bushing sleeve” is definitely a term that can be used to describe axle spacers.

Yeah, I guess that’s what I meant. Didn’t know it was called bushing sleeve. Thanks Alex!

though usually a metal bushing would be related protecting 2 separate metal surfaces during spinning, rather than acting as a spacer to help compress multiple parts together, right?

idk :man_shrugging:, parts are parts in the end

False alarm, apparently you don’t put a spacer inside the front wheel

With Fatboy Hubs which I think are similar/same in dimension to Superstar Hubs my stack order is:

Hanger
Small spacer
Adapter
Gear
Med spacer
Bearing
Inner wheel hub spacer purchased elsewhere
Bearing
Nut

I’m at
Hanger
Adapter
Gear
Washer
Washer
Spacer
Bearing
Hub spacer

What grease is the best? Red tacky?

Yes

Technically really the best is Dirtbike/motoX chain lube, but that would be the best for about 2 miles before it’s all flung off the gears :joy: Red n Tacky is the best if your not gonna be swapping ur every two miles

What’s a good place to get it? I though they came with the drives but I must have been thinking of something else

Yea, you probably want something more like this: https://www.amazon.com/Lucas-Oil-10005-Tacky-Grease/dp/B000ARPVO8/ref=sr_1_15?keywords=lucas+red+n+tacky&qid=1639681640&sr=8-15

If you’re looking for something more reasonable and easy to handle, this is a good option too though:
