yeah you do
For a choo-choo build, 10s4p, commuter, gear-drives, pneumatics, which hangar size and drivetrain should I get? Boardnamics of course
Pneumatics wise, unless you have infinity hubs you’re going to need the AT drives. I’ve never seen a choochoo in person, I’m not sure how big it is, but 220’s tend to work on everything. 270’s are more fun unless it’s a really small deck tho, imo
Yes, AT drives for sure. Choo choo is 31 inches long. I’m thinking 220 but not too sure.
you need 270s, which are out of stock (i think?). 220s won’t clear.
33 is iffy, I didn’t like 270’s on my 30 inch board but love em on my 36.
Reverse one mount
I meant the geardrives and motors won’t clear the deck. If you turn, they’ll hit the deck. It’s very possible this will happen on 270s too. I couldn’t get m1-at to fit on my trampa deck with 270mm hangers.
Ahhh, reverse both than xD
the part of the geardrive that mounts onto the hanger will hit the deck. there’s no solution to that.
@AviatorEsk8er get mtb trucks or go belt drive. I chose belt drive for now and will switch to gears when I get trampa trucks.
I believe he has some waiting on a part out actually
nah, just sold the MTB last night haha.
if you got moni to burn, trampa precision trucks + bn-at + bn 6384s
Oh nice!! The AT’s are pretty large. Maybe it’d be cheaper to get some infinity hubs and run the regular m1?
what happened to the pintx?
gone too. But money went into another pool of funds.
Maybe, anybody else agree with this gameplan?
On the other hand, I already have a set of evolve wheels and the AT drives are probably easier to re-sell because they’re more popular? Is that true?
M1 street drives ratio is too high. You’d have no torque. I say belts.
