Boardnamics drivetrain components discussion and questions

How does one use T/Sunmate wheels on BN 270 trucks?

I don’t see anyone talking about doing it.

The new 10mm axles are probably the best option, provided you can get the old 10-8 ones out if you have those. Then you can use 16100-2rs bearings for the wheels. I’m running those with rockstar ii’s on 270’s with moon drives. Had to machine my own axles though.

Lol I was doing a search but nothing came up. Yup I am getting the solid 10mm shafts this time.

T rampa sells bearing conversion spacers that adapt the wheels to 22mm bearings, I tossed mine since they gave me nothing but headaches, its another element that adds play and they were either too tight or too loose. Superstar spokes in general are bad quality in general, wonky tolerances and some miss drilled holes on mine.

Same as trampa superstars is this what your asking for pulleys
Trampa has a better finish

The sunmates are worse in my opinion if you have both I feel like the trampas are made with a better aluminum but that’s just a feel thing haven’t done any homework on it

This bit

Fits between spiders and holds 22mm bearings

Right I got it now. So I just need to order the sunmate wheel set with the bearing hubs meant for 22mm od bearings then just use 6900-2RS.

oh but for actual all terrain riding 16100-2rs would be more ideal.

If you need to get new bearings, why use the spacer at all?

By spacer you mean replacing the bearing hub.

We are gonna derail this bitch soon.

Just get the 10mmx28 that’s what I’m doing and a spacer for the rim
