BLITZKRIEG // WHIPLASH

Finally got the bones to excite the rest of this build.

Gonna be quite some more time before I throw everything together as my priorities with school / work and such are massively intensive.

I’ll be sure to keep this build thread as it progresses.

In terms of the components I’m for-sure using g300s & 70125 motors but all the rest is up for debate.

Definitely in favor of giving it some time before it comes alive, As I know it’s going to peel the skin right off me.

I really wish my 3 links experience had been on a dedicated platform like this.

I’m still mad at myself for not going Super Spine.

This chassis looks so killer…

Democratic naming leads to things like Boaty McBoatface.

I know but that’s alright kinda already has a bit of kerfluffle happening.

I think it’s gotta have a bit of goof to it since it looks already to badass

Number 26 is Ricky Bobby’s number from taladega nights LOL @b264

My thoughts with blitzkreig is that graphic was on the p-51 mustang which was an American aircraft no? I think it’d be cool to name it after an actual P-51

My favorites would be Excalibur, Mad Max, Thunderbird and a few others. Thing looks sick and I thought you said you were done with esk8

Definitely anything but blitzkrieg please lmao

Why?

Das ist very german, ja?

I am German but I ain’t no damn Nazi

Fair enough, but I think the perceived issue is about who coined that term, regardless of your own opinions. And that those people were fighting the ones who made the Mustang. So there’s an aesthetic clash there.

I’m more focused on the meaning that is derived from it. It essentially means “an excessive use of force”

Polish ally

I mean if you look at the poll captain ass scrape is in the lead by far

It’s the same reason I wouldn’t name a board after the rocket tech that enables ships in The Expanse™ to travel so fast; recent events highjacked the name lol.

Got keep em flabbergasted

Yes I definitely think it’s alright to name it something goofy as it already looks evil as hell

In terms of being done with esk8

I’ll never be done with that shit

I just have had some pretty discouraging past couple years as my priorities have wildly changed.

I haven’t been nearly as active w this hobby or physically fit in a way where I could throw down as hard as I can. (Time constraints and a wild undetermined work schedule really affects that)

I have not got to really put the hammer down to scare the pros in most of the race leagues.

Just gonna go through changes probably gonna get skinny & sell two boards If I can.

This is a cool idea.

i’m surprised how far that graphic goes towards improving the aesthetic of the board

I liked it for the “lignting strike” kinda feel of the word.

but this is a reasonable take.. which is making me want to change my vote. but there’s no good choices in the poll. :stuck_out_tongue:

The primary nickname for the P-51 Mustang is “Little Friend,” given to it by bomber crews who appreciated its long-range escorts that protected them deep into Germany during World War II. While “Mustang” is the official name given by the British, other individual aircraft often received unique names, such as “Cripes A’Mighty” (flown by George Preddy) or “Ole Yeller” (flown by Bob Hoover)

How about just “Little Friend” ?

“Cripes A’Mighty” is pretty good too

I saw that one too.

Here’s Alex Garza going for a pass on his custom build “Cripes A’Mighty” named after a real P-51 mustang
