I will also go motorcycle helmet next, at least for the more high speed and off-road stuff.
I’ve been looking at upgrading my openface 90’s pro-tec with a new full face.
What’s you guys opinion on this exact helmet?

Snell and ece 22.06
little pricey and heavy but looks like a good helmet.
It’s 1 lb heavier than the tsg pass2.0
You can find them for the same price as the PASS2.0
seems like it’s much better rated for crashes than the pass.
id definitely get one over a pass every day of the week. just gonna take a couple rides to get used to the weight is all
my pass did indeed likely save my life, and i ended up getting another that i still rock today - they’re super sleek and lightweight, and supposedly built to handle “downhill” speeds
BUT yeah same, if/when i get a new full face i’ll be getting a moto helmet for sure, can’t pass up how much safer they are at the cost of a pound or two
As someone who have been hit by a car on an eBike going ZERO miles an hour while wearing a DOT helmet, I would say motorcycle helmet would be a safest thing if you ever ride next to cars or in a bike lane that’s right next to car traffic.
Even if you are not going full throttle on your PEV, a car going 50mph mean it’s a high speed impact that a Pass is not meant to take. The guy that hit me was probably on his phone and swerved into me and sent me flying.
The one I crashed in and repurchased is a cheapish LS2 Modular, the flip up chin bar makes it much easier to put on and take off with my sweet cheeks. Love the built in shades as well. The only pro with the Pass was the side visibility and lighter weight.
