Radler on a rad ride.

Does cider count?

I’m trying to get my feet ready and wear out the last of these current tires before carve.

Cider is apple beer. I rate it.

Barrel House Brewing, Hazed and Confused hazy IPA. Local brewery, this is one of their standard beers that’s on the shelf in most liquor stores around here. Nothing too special about it but if you find yourself at one of their tasting rooms you can get your hands on some good sours, including a sour saisons and golden ale. Their stout lineup is great too but the weather is way too nice for that right now.

A few different beers on a few different boards. Had to add a board on :cactus: picture too. Had my heavier friend push the SLM gears. Multiple tub bashes and they’re still holding up!

That cactus is really cool.

I bet these rides you guys go on are awesome…

These places look so dreamy.

They’re pretty secluded and have some good scenery but I think the same thing about some of the trails other people post on here. Good spots are all over if you’re willing to hunt them down.

One thing that really surprises me, we’re in Santa Barbara county with a fairly large population. For whatever reason we hardly ever see people out on most of these rides. Some BMX or dirt bikers once in a while but I feel like the majority of the people here spend their outside time at overcrowded beaches. That’s fun too but they’re missing out on some killer views. Oh well, win for us I guess…

Ok, what I lack in quality of beer and board, I make up for in Mosquitoes, gnats, and 40% DEET.

New beer on a new path. Construction blocked our usual ride so instead of riding the ridge line we had to go down the road on the other side towards the beach. Glad we did, great ride and views.

Second picture zoomed in you can see the antenna tower we usually ride to.

Would highly recommend trying a beer with New Zealand Waimea hops!

Sun’s been out all day here and i’ve been doing dad and van stuff but i couldn’t resist the urge to go for a sneaky beer run in the sun

Coopers Red is an aussie classic. Decent strength and reliable flavour, it’s a good one.

I’m back on the real beers! Sobriety got boring, it was a good stint tho!

Can’t ride today, too much to do around the house but I’ll crack one to celebrate your return. Never seen that beer but will keep an eye out. I remember drinking Four X in a skatepark in Brisbane as a teenager. We were shocked to learn that Fosters isn’t actually a go-to in Australia :joy:.

I used to be a big XXXX fan, its a mid strength so you can pretty much drink them all day.

Fosters is gross :joy: its not even Australian owned and literally nobody here drinks it. The only regular fosters drinkers i ever met were boomers from the UK :joy:

That trip was a little over 20 years ago. Haven’t had XXXX since. Don’t think it’s available here in the states. We probably had a few too many, along with some Australian herb and were wandering around Brisbane lost for awhile (no smart phones.). Was over there with my high school water polo team summer after freshman year. Would love to make a trip back out as an adult.

I have been enjoying taking a beer over to the Playground runs.

I like lighter beers and in recent times mainly drink sours.

This is the Logboat Lei-a

Technically not a sour…lol

Sours are the bomb :bomb:
