What have you guys been drinking? For some reason I’ve been on a Sierra Nevada kick the past couple months. This Springfest Ale has been standard on most rides. Lighter IPA at 6% abv but that’s perfect for having 2 or 3 without getting too much of a buzz to ride safeishly.
Finally got my hands on some West Ghost too. Been wanting to try this one for awhile. It’s a great example of a west coast IPA. It’s probably worth the hype but I like the West Coast IPAs from my local breweries too. Give it a shot if you see it in the wild

It’s Good Friday tomorrow, general retail is closed, and moreso for alcohol sales. There’s a microbrewery near me and I remembered that primary producers such as craft breweries and cellar doors are exempted.

Great Notion Brewing up in Oregon collaborate with Alvarado Street Brewing in Monterey county Ca every year to make Double Dank Shake and this. Normally we would keep cruising up this fire break, but they just re dozed it so impossible to get traction. Super loose dirt and deep tread tracks. We lost a motor sensor on a board trying to hit it.
Found a new path on a cattle trail. To get to our playground spot. My shovel was still there!
Judd was yelling at them and trying to intimidate the herd. It didn’t work. I used some “good doggy” rhetoric and eventually they fucked off. I’ m pretty sure they’re cool with us riding their paths now.
