Cheers. I’m really stoked. Hopefully this is what the Tayto never was.
Omfg, I love it. They fit p42a? How thick the gasket needs to be?
You are a brave man. They went through the Shua Vortex.
True… maybe just velcro the enclosure on… quick release to save the hummies.
Now you can be hospital buddies imagine the brave ben and bill holding cast hands while watching their favorite series together.
No gasket needed. But always a good idea!
12s3p flat stack!? How is there so much room…?
I call big spoon.
Just thought I’d update on the omakase.
I’m loving the look of it, just need to get hold of a little bms to get the battery built.
And check out the stroke of luck with the Zenit marble.
It’s more than luck, it’s a miracle!
What are your plans for the Marble, just use this one? Or can you easily do a mould slightly longer from the omakase one?
There’s space to make it a little longer.
So could be 15s3p maybe?
That’s with the trucks on the outermost position and pretty tight in there I’d have thought. If anyone can think of a sensible arrangement. Please jump in!
My favorite for a SS is the 15S3P layout, I think there is enough length.
Otherwise 12S3P with transversal cells in two columns.
for 15s3p people would need a stormcore 100D. maybe that’s exactly what someone is planning on with this downhill deck, but I doubt it.
Was thinking more about a Spintend.
I’m sticking with xenith, so 12s3p of P42A if not room for 12s4p SS.
in that small of an enclosure?
The Xenith dimensions are:
115.5 x 67 x 18.13 mm
Spintend:
145 x 83 x 25 mm
I think width and height represents no problem. It has more 16mm (83-67) length though, which might still be ok.
That enclosure takes a xenith, and 12s3p p42a. And little bms.
Just looking at how 18650s sit in this width and 10 wide is easy. So not absolutely impossible to imagine a 12s5p of p26a/p28a/p31a (when they’re available…
Spintend had bolts and connectors to add to this depth.
