Makes sense cause you got that monster OW huh. Niiice. My board is currently not ver off-road capable lol. Maybe my future board.
That’s sounds cool. I’m trying to do so dirt riding. I have a GX4 so can do a lot just not to crazy cuz the board is soooo heavy. I stay out in SF but make it out to the east bay from time to time.
I’d like to join u all for a group ride some time.
I’m working on getting my ridiculous led sled 4wd planetary gear drive board going. I’ll probably sell it but there will need to be test runs to make sure it’s ok. I’ll hit you up. Have you tried wild cat canyon?
It ends in Richmond 5755 mc bride ave starts here https://maps.app.goo.gl/hWoN6qHSfL1PPVvQ7?g_st=ic
Mainly fire road some paved sections some rolling technical stuff, a ridge trail with fantastic night views, mind the cattle guards,I think 10” tires to clear them
It’s safe at night but you will do some coyote bowling
I have not ridden wild cat canyon but I have been there. I’m down anytime. Maybe not for nights right now because it is too cold for me but night rides sound like a dream in the warm months.
Did wildcat canyon on saturday. Beautiful views. A little crowded at times. Did some of my route in Tilden which is much rockier, which I like. Here’s the route I took minus some detours to hit single track.
Anyone interested in a New Year’s Day ride? Possibly Calaveras road again.
What city is calaveras Road in I might be down to make a ride?
Milpitas
Damnit I missed it by a few days. I gotta go to one of these when I iron out the quirks on my board.
not having my board and all this rain sucks’ only have a test board I’m not really comfortable with ,especially in the wet asphalt and my urethane board that I had the back truck racing the front truck at the bottom of a steep hill, I come off, running backwards, expecting to smack my heads end up in reverse superhero landing pose. then I hear slow clapping, the really old ladies, tell me I nearly died .
