Do I have to have the thing connected to the cloud? Or can I run print jobs locally and sacrifice some functionality (like presumably being able to watch your prints from your phone)?
You can run it locally yeah I just haven’t cared to try.
I got my printer for about 14 days now and i love it. I gave my ender 3 to an upcoming esk8 apprentice friend so i had an excuse to get it.
So far I’ve been having great print quality and also printing mod parts for the printer to make it function better like Y splitters, dry box attachments for the AMS, and a lid riser with LED lights so the inside can be seen better
Nice. You can also load up spool centers and the built in desiccant tray with printed containers.
Some where on this site, they suggest that a drying strategy using both alumina and silica is optimal owing to the complimentary drying properties of both materials.
Damn, shrooms. The more you know
I want one of these, they sound close to zero hassle
Indeed
Need
I love mine. All I’ve really had to do is clean/grease the Z rods a couple times when it asks for it.
I just ordered one a few days ago. Says it should arrive Wednesday. I’m really excited to get to experiment with a bunch of filaments.
Sounds kinky
It helps me purge the biggest and best lines
I haven’t seen anything about it
Nope I don’t care about custom firmware yet
Article to read from Bambu
I agree with their choice and the way they’re going about it. I will not be installing the custom firmware though
I won’t be jumping head first into either. Kinda glad there was a few weeks for me to cool my jets.
Couple years ago I never dreamed of getting the quality TPU prints I get on the bambu lol
It makes me wanna print everything in TPU lol
