Backpack : Show us what you got!

Sup’

What kind of backpack do you guys ride with?

I wanted to upgrade to a cheap hard shell with flat aero profiles so just pulled the trigger on one of these for $22

I’ll see if it really offers low air drag compared to my old one!

What about you, show us your rig :luggage:

Usually this, the last one had a hole so big my laptop fell out so I stole one… usually packed with a laptop and a set of clothes…also how I go shopping for groceries

Utterly useless, it’s too small to fit a penny board AND the laptop at the same time …I mean what’s the point in that?

Please note plad PJs…it’s high fashion

Rule 1: Must have chest strap.
Rule 2: Must have hip belt/strap.
Rule 3: Has lifetime warranty.

I rely on Timbuk2 or Osprey.
They have suffered horribly and survived.

We humbly demand pictures :beers: seriously I didn’t even know brands still offered lifetime warranty for bags!

Oh and extra rule: looks so professionally boring (aka “blah”), that no one will attempt to mug you if you’re traveling.

Timbuk2 Aviator: has traveled about a hundred thousand miles with me. Fits all I need.

Osprey Daylite plus: has survived ice and fire, literally. Burned a buckle once. Got a replacement in days, for free, no questions asked.

The Alterbag is amazing, I use the mini and there is tons of space for anything you need and very functional. The green inside liner also makes it impossible to loose shit. (Sorry bout the shit photos)

Actually the first one looks good, bit vintage too! Also like the simplicity of the second one.

Now @kook real question, the flight vest is for when you raid someone on your board ready to blow his house in smokes? Half futuristic half intimidating for real :fire:

Yeah, I love that about it - its good enough to go to a meeting wearing it and a suit, but humble enough to go backpacking and not demand attention.

the thing about the flight vest is function…it carries the weight low, very little weight on your shoulders, you almost don’t feel it when you’re wearing it, plus it has multiple front pockets and zips so you can actually get to something quickly, and it looks pretty bad-ass!

I wish they would outfit it with some better straps. As-is it does not pass my sniff test.
For heavy boards I want a hip belt and better straps.
For skating I want chest and hip straps to make sure it wont move around and disturb my balance.
@Grievor If you come out with a pack like that, you have a new client.

Osprey Kamber 22 here, like what @Arch LaCroix sells, only with battery and ESC built in. Soon to have active cooling too.

What are you riding to have your elecs on your back? Mtb jumps?

I have been eyeing that one, too!
Can you carry esk8 boards with it?

It’s a work in progress, but yeah, I wanted to make my MTB lighter. Currently weighs in at 9kg.

It’s got the straps, but I haven’t.
