Hold my beer. Wire cut the end of a paperclip put 5mm of tape in the middle then short pins 1 and 3 with ends.

Sure, you can use female arduino cables. They’re called dupont jumpers.

Exactly, you’ll need one of these or make one yourself. The clean way would be using this:

Then just connect left and right pin of the bind slot.
But I suppose you don’t have such cable?

Put one end on the bind port

And the other side as follows:

Any wire or metallic thing will work

Try using the bottom connector also try flipping the cable 180 you won’t damage anything if it’s wrong.

i learned eagle pcb twenty years ago and was having pcb’s made in short time

i was able to bring my vision of sensor and microcontroller projects to real life in short order

i hope it’s still free and easy to use, give it a try
