so pros for dual = sparkplug / pros for 2 x single =less chance of total failure - youâre unlikely to blow 2 escâs at once.
Thatâs the running theory. Youâd think makers of dual escs would make them able to still function in case of one side failing but none yet. There is a wave of new escs coming though so who knows whatâs on the horizon.

If I have a dual motor setup with a 60a output battery. I would want to set the motors to pull 30a each. Right?

my hanger has no play (zero freedom of movement on the front/back axis) but my hangers are black and my base plate is plastic

How do you calculate Max current from battery? I have 12s5p with 30q cells
30q cells have a continuous discharge of 15amps and burst of 20amps
So 15amps * the 5 parallel groups = 75 continuous amps
And 20 * 5 = 100 burst amps

Yes, a few others have had this on the black as well. If you can tighten the kingpin to where it doesnât do that, great. If itâs too far of a gap and youâre not comfortable doing that, hit up mbs about a replacement as long as theyâre still fresh.
Well this is already the replacement. I got this one from @Mainflow because his was bent. I got the bent one (hanger is bent) but use just the baseplate
You could warm it in the oven for a bit so it wants to bend easier, crank the kingpin tight to close the gap, and then let it cool that way. Not sure on a recommended temperature to bake at though.

I printed 2 washers that go between the bushings.
1x 1mm
1x 0.8mm
now the gap is filled. Now i need to test it while riding

No. Motor amps can exceed battery amps, but not vice versa.
You set battery amps 30a per ESC and for the motor amps you set whatever you want up to the max amp rating of each motor, that controls your acceleration.
