UmmâŚI canât pull on it hard enoughâŚany tricks?
not really
Rip, do I get out a hammer or something?
Wouldnât recommend a hammer. I used a flathead screwdriver to pry it apart until i got it out but that dented the material and looks awful
The problem is the 6384 Motor. It seems like a new inproved design and because of that i canât tell you if there is something else you need to do or if the magnets are just too strong for you.
Hmm that wonât doâŚI guess I should contact Flipsky about it? Or has anyone else opened a FS 6384?
Either that or wait for the expert to help. I wouldnât want to risk anything
Any experts you know of on this case?
This tool comes in incredibly handy in several situations

Search battery terminal puller if you want to buy elsewhere. They are called wiper arm pullers too
I guess pull on the motor mount? There isnât much of a gap between the can and motor face
FYI, this guyâs plunger doesnât fit inside a 8mm pulley, so youâll have to jerry-rig a smaller spacer if you want to use it to remove 8mm motor pulleys.
Yeah Iâm planning on shaving down the spindle end when I inevitably need to use it on a stuck pulley
Wasted no time! Damn good deal. I kind of feel like I can see 1.7 there on the board, but I donât have Super Trooper enhance mode available.
Haha thank you! I always keep an eye on the builders forum, always seems to be some absurdly good deal there maybe 1x per month
@Harrisonwms1 i donât know much about the firmware other than the fact that the user current settings can be overridden by the hardware limits file
Jump on the calculator to see what results different tooth pulleys will give you.
It is handy to reference a setup you already know and are familiar with and work out the torque from that board on the calculator. Then you have a benchmark for torque for your new setup.
Hey guys, is this belt tension too loose or just nice?
So took a closer look and it seems that one motor is a little loose. Iâm just not sure how to secure it or make it tighter. There seems to be a smalll tiny space between the axle and the motor not sure how to close that gap. Itâs very little but itâs enough to clank loud as shit. @torqueboards any quick fixes? https://esk8-news-objects.s3.dualstack.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/original/3X/f/a/fa64ad33fa3db007d4534e2f91de780bbe58782f.MOV
@ahrav You can try adding some thermal paste on the hanger as well as thermal tape on the collar if needed. Usually, that will fix it. With the actual wheel on, that should also be less noticeable.
