If you can tug on it with some force (donât go hulk on it but give it a good tug) then Iâd assume itâs pretty much good. If youâre being extra paranoid can always check the resistance across the connection to make sure it is a low resistance path, but personally wouldnât worry too much about the lack of smoothness on the joint.
Thanks.
Yeah gave it a wank and all is fine, doesnât cost much to redo it though i was just aaking out of curiosity
Thanks Shaun
Do it
just the ground or the power to
only one, doesnât matter which one
no problem, dude. Glad you like it.
Thats for the matrix ii
I !am wondering about the original matrix trucks. Will it work for both?
Edit 2, saw your other post
Doesnât matter at all. If the motor spins backwards, you can either change it in software, or swap any two wires to reverse the rotation.
Too much solder, and not enough heat. When doing large pads like that I use the largest tip I have (a wide chisel), and crank the temperature as high as it will go (480C). Hold the iron on there longer, until all the solder has melted - the ridges are caused by partial melting - Itâs the same thing as the âstack of dimesâ look that weld beads have, as the weld pool moves along.
Except the dimes look is desirable for welding aluminum.
And unavoidable - Canât melt the whole seam at once.
If you could you would have alot of unavoidable warping.
sorry for the late reply, work got the better of me
the trucks i talk about are SZ 177mm TKP
what i still wonder is, the TKP will prolong the actual wheelbase because the hangers are further out,
but still will turn better than the calibers i have on right now ?
not being able to turn as âtightâ as i can right now is my biggest concern
other than that i kinda fancy the idea and wanna give it a try
âŚits also nice that usually tkpâs are a bit smaller in height, so more room to fit soft riser/shockpads on the same height,
why would i use the adjustable bp, if i had soft angled risers ?
Do you have the matrix pro trucks? We could measure kingpins and compare
Iâm looking for a dropdown deck. Flexi and not expensive would be good. (220mm trucks and 110mm tb wheels for maximum comfort)
Does anybody have experience with the Mark One Manta deck?
Also how do i make my 220mm trucks not look stupid?
(looks worse in person)
Its the antenna wire.
The black piece of tape on top of the voltmeter is actually an antenna.
That thin tape?
