Archived: the OG noob question thread! 😀

if you need or want to ride in the rain also, and you are not that experienced rider, you should use rubber wheels. They are super grippy and a must have for wet conditions. There are just a few “good” rubber wheels in an acceptable quality and our beloved “sizes”. Take a look at ownboards rubber wheels or eovan boards.
They will not last that long but they are super cheap, super grippy, top size and look really badass imo. :skull_and_crossbones:

We need a lot more information, such as the geometry of these lipos, (are they 6S? 12S? 3S?) but in general it sounds like what you’re thinking might be very much not-good. Balancing has to happen gradually inside a P-pack, you cannot disconnect then reconnect cells or packs, unless they are at exactly the same voltage.

I have 4 Turnegy x 6s 4500 mAh soft LIPO’s, which I will use in an 2s setup, ideally 2s2p. Could you equalise the voltage in a slow way relatively easily before connecting?

Once they’re equalised and connected in parallel I’ll discharge and charge them (BMS) together, so there shouldn’t be a big drift across parallel connected cells.

So you have two 6S connected in series, times two? And you want to connect both of those 12S batteries in parallel?

If so, do it once and only once and make sure they are all charged to the exact same level first. The penalty for doing these things wrong is angry fire.

Maybe take a photo so we know exactly what you mean.

In a capitalist economy the owners of businesses are rewarded with the profits because they took a risk and invested their capital in the business. They are very motivated to operate their business well because they will lose their investment if they do not. Enertion is part of a growing trend of companies in which the owners expect the customers to invest the capital to run their business while the owners still take the profits. They are not as motivated to operate their businesses well because when things go wrong the skin is off the customer’s back, not the owner’s back. Enertion has gone the extra step of charging a 20% penalty for customers that wish to withdraw their investment when Enertion does not deliver what they promised. That provides extra motivation for the owner to promise things they cannot deliver. It is taking the worst features of capitalism and socialism and combining them into one really bad economic system. It concentrates wealth like capitalism and rewards sloth like socialism.

Don’t hate Enertion. Hate the practice.

You can say it, it’s just a brand/registered trademark no problems unless you want to make something similar and use the same name

Did you get flagged for being a dick Kelly?

Welcome to my world. Even I don’t troll the noob thread. Too funny.

I may have to send a cease and desist to @Astro. That is the name of the division of Northrop I work for. We had the name before George Jetson’s dog.

I have had to have the lawyers do that twice now with a company in London that uses our trademarked AstroMast name and pictures off our website on their website.

Enjoy your holiday.

You can just copy the text, change the names and pocket the $500

Thanks, I have a mini disco to go to in 30 mins with my 2 girls, going to research @Brenternet’s slut drop maneuver in the interim to ‘bring it’?

Can we change the flag icon/text to a snowflake?

Can you weld to the side of the battery can?

I read the two ends are designed for welding to andhave a bit of room inside. If ur heating the side it could damage the cell

These are the batteries. I’d like to create a 12s2p pack for ease charging, discharging and longevity.
