Archived: the OG noob question thread! 😀

Buy a half shell for classes would be my recommendation. They are a pain getting on and off that’s for sure. I’ve got a half shell to run quick errands when I’m not planning on ripping around.

Which one, if either are correct?

B- balance lead is used. B- port is not.

or this

B- balance lead is skipped and not used. B- port is.

Or is there some other way I am suppose to do this.

Thanks

I got a half decent one actually, it’s the one I used before getting the Pass and its pretty comfy so I’ll use that then

So the B- balance lead does nothing and can just be cut off?

P- goes to fuse, then to negative charge port.

No, B- has to go to neg of the batt pack

Ha! I put mine on POS.

So I put both the B- lead to the B-, and also solder on another wire to B- port and put that to B-?

Motor pulleys are 16T 5HTD 15mm from torqueboards.

You put b- balance on the battery AND a wire from b- bms terminal to your battery

That works just fine

Do you have a photo?

I will but now I am trying to solve another problem.

Motor making noise at a little push of throttle, and full throttle but mid throttle but seems a little louder than the other motor

I just took the motor apart and everything looks good but it stll makes the noise.

This is all I can find, seems like something is causing it to scratch.

Maybe it’s has something to do with the retainer ring not being able to spin because of the motor mount

If that’s why just add washers to the inside of the mount

might sound stupid but is it the zipties?

Ummmm… what!

Does it make the noise out of the motor mount

Just a thought…

Try spinning it outside of the mount
