I mean I may try running a dv6 pro and xenith. They both are on the same firmware. But unsure whether can forwarding is applicable when running both escs. Maybe just getting two Vescs that are the same would be easier to start with.

Two receivers could be another option but yes wasn’t a fan of split ppm accross a ubox and d75.

Last night, powered her on for the first time, no magic smoke. Just waiting on rubber grommets and hardware berfore I drill my deck and enclosure. Also planning on running 2 bindings at the moment since it’ll be almost strictly for racing.
Finally using the xboards gopro mount that I bought almost a year ago for my camera up front and got a grab handle for the rear.
Needed extensions for the battery and motors so they could reach the center of the deck. Got the phase wire extensions from mboards btw if you need them. wish they made them like 3in longer but oh well.
Finally added the graphic from last race season onto a board, very much overdue. I have to cut the grip tape later so the arrow shows through all the way.
Detection and setup is done. Just waiting for the last bits and pieces to mount everything. Looks like i’ll finish this build before the new year.

Got a lot done last night. Drilled the enclosure holes, test fit everything and all looks good. Did decide I want even longer extensions tho cause I want to be able to lift the top box a good 6-8 inches off the deck when i’m fiddling with the esc’s.
currently setting up the backlash on the gears so iI can run the board once I get those extensions. At least the loctite will have more time to cure.

Archangel is finally complete!! Got some more changes planned but she is fully functioning. Rode her in a parking lot for a couple minutes this afternoon and it actually feels very similar to a superspine from what little I got to ride them both.
Hopefully it doesn’t rain tomorrow morning so I can go find a parking lot and run some more laps.

Had some minor issues, last night when trying to complete the board. A sensor wire snapped somehow so got that fixed. Was going to run the front motor sensorless until I noticed the wire. Saved me from having to get a new motor.

stress testing appears to be going well. 
should be dry from tomorrow until thursday so i’ll hopefully be able to get out and really push the board.

Negative motor temps?
Also, the two motors with super low currents your fronts(?) Do you have a crazy amount of rear bias or something
Also, get us some drag race and t race times 
yeah something weird is going on with the temp sensor. possibly a severed wire but idk. i’ll look into it another time. might just replace the motor and call it good
yeah they’re the fronts, i usually run like a 30/70 bias. it’s currently 15a max in the front to push the rears as much as possible. trying to see how high they’ll go lol. aiming for at least 200 but i don’t think i’m heavy enough to pull that many lol
once the weather warms up, i’ll try t-race and get back into drag racing. it hasn’t been over 40°F in like weeks. should have tome times around february or march before esk8con

So the new Solos can handle it??
On 5.2 ratio 175kv on a 160mm tire I can’t pull over 170 ish before loosing grip, at least those were the numbers when I was still in 2WD. Didn’t hook up my sensors for 4WD, been too lazy and didn’t do drag on VSS lol.
You might need larger tires to be able to pull that much 
Maybe warm em up with some hard carving beforehand?

they should handle over 200 but that’s what we’re currently trying to find out. i am geared for like 50+mph so that should help with pulling amps.
realistically, with awd, i probably wont get close to that with the gearing i’ll be running on short track.
even then, might still be hard with the 30f temps. maybe i’ll heat the tires with a heat gun

It’s been quite an eventful week regarding the board with how little i’ve ridden it.
My rear motor pinions broke loose twice so I ended up cutting key ways in them. They appear to be holding now which is good. Also managed to pull 200a from the v2 solos which is great. I’m sure they have more in them but I probably can’t get there until the temps warm up.
The case that i bought for my last board should also work for this one. would be nice if it was a little taller but 
maybe I’ll sell this one and get a different one.
Might try to go get some 0-20 runs and possibly a court session in tomorrow but I’m not expecting to shatter any records with how cold it is.

@tuckjohn, I finally got the first drag time in. Couldn’t even get the tires to room temp, it’s so cold lol.

thanks bro and yeah, i’ll have a 0-30 before esk8con for sure. i’m still regaining my confidence after being off a board for so long on top of having a couple scares last week. also gotta gear the board lower (than low 50’s) once it warms up since it’s short track season.
