Anyone with builds using Lishen batteries?

#derailjail

I’m using BNM1’s on my next build, I’m going to be using Helic gears.

How do you like yours?

All this shits getting derailed anyway…
They’re awesome Dan. Got the straight cuts, but Really good free roll

Can’t wait to see your 4WD monster pal, only going 2WD for mine.

Should probably start making the battery up, my Samurai board is ticking all the boxes so far at the moment.

sag, hills, high speed, pneumatics

Yeah I just gave myself some perspective, spent 60% battery on 16km just now lol. Rocketing up hills with 200mm pneumies.

That’s not sag though, you can see in the log the battery voltage comes back up at the end to the true resting voltage

After 500ks the Lishens are still going strong, I’ve switched up wheels a few times to TB110’s and now running cloud 105’s. With the smaller wheels I’m able to get 50+ks with mixed riding, really quite surprised at how well they perform.

On a side note my replacement ET2 Battery only just came today. I will be swapping out the factory BMS and LingYi esc for a LLT and a Spintend UBOX V1.

Hopefully get to see how those planetary gear drives work with full power unleashed.

Because that ratio is really small for pnuematics

Pnuematics should be running on a ratio of 4 or more

He sells a fuck ton of 3ds stuff. He has a financial stake in 3ds.

After a lot of experience with both, I personally recommend all BN drives over 3ds. They are loud but nearly indestructible. Also Kevin is a lot nicer than kuglis or whatever his name is. He won’t threaten to doxx you

The only reason I see to go with 3ds is if you need your board to be quiet, in which case id just get a belt drive, personally

It’s not that I don’t like them, I just prefer 3Ds. The only thing I don’t like about Bn drives is noise they make and the fact that the only thing holding them to the trucks is your axle nut.

@jack.luis no financial stake in 3Ds, I just buy a lot of their stuff. Just as I buy a lot of lacroix controllers and TB thane, and redember decks and EBOOSTED enclosures. I prefer the things I have tested and I like what I like lol. If it makes you feel any better I think BN belt stuff is the heat on the market.

Or if you need parts now.
Boardnamics and 3ds both have good quality gear. 3ds is, from what I’ve seen, generally a bit more expensive. But boardnamics is notoriously low on stock all the time.

You mean the part you already trust to keep your front wheels on?

I’ve seen the point made on esk8freedom, wasn’t expecting it here

Yeah that part, I trust myself to install it correctly and use the right kind of axle nut, but I’ve some cases where people don’t use the right kind of nut and even cases where it fails if they do use the right kind of nut. Again not a huge issue, just preference
