Alternatively, you could use the new vesc tool. Idk if you want to, but you could.
I’m stuck is the weird osx Mac world.
I can run VMware windows,. But after 1.29 it crashes
I can run Ubuntu Linux on osx,. But it has connection issues.
I can run osx compiled versions of vesc tool but they are older.
I need to get a little mini laptop,. But I’m too cheap
Does this help you?

GitHub is awesome… there is a learning curve… it deters the unworthy
thanks
Diss true. Put a fuckinnnnn README in there will yaaaaa
no sweat… i often fail as well at the steps to entry of the grail…
It honestly depends on the project/ repo you are in. Some of them are straight forward as hell. With A README.md that will get you sorted no problemo.
Then there are others where you have no idea what the fuck is what. Just rummaging through directories trying to make sense of it all.
I can see where you and @kook be comin from.
trust me GitHub is a “black-hole” of a repository… you go down that rabbit hole… pack-a-lunch…
i’ll make it easy for you kevin
