Anybody have a dual VESC laying around…?

To sum it up, I was stupid and did something I shouldn’t have and fried my makerx d100.
I am using this build Obrua Nur | A Teens Esk8 Journey for my 8th grade graduation project. It is due in May and I still need to get more footage of riding it. I’m not too picky on specs for the vesc, it’s needs to be dual, preferably smaller size. A makerx would be nice, but I would take really anything for now.

Sounds like almost any esc can handle the power levels.

I thought v4 maxed out at 10s?

Nope. Still using 60v hardware.

I personally ran 4.12 at 12s for years.

They are also based on 4.12 btw.

Stormcore is v6.

Yeah I thought they were specifically different to 4.12 though, anyway this is derailing a bit.

I’ve got a spare focbox tenka lying around

4.12 isn’t great on 12S but all the other V4 are fine. 12S can be used on 4.12 but you need to be careful and use very conservative settings.

Also, If anybody want to buy/have it, there’s probably still salvageable parts…?

if you’re giving it away, I was considering collecting broken vescs to practice repairing them/swapping out MCU and DRV chips.

Makerx are usually pretty accommodating with repairs. You should be able to send it back to them to get it fixed

Sorry to hear it man, that’s unfortunate.
