I just bought some aluminium foot lockers , nice aluminium plates, bent and drilled
was 70 euros for a set of two

So for now it bends
Keep in mind this is overkill in terms of loads, but I wouldn’t want my product to do this anyway.
I will try stainless steel next before changing the design completely.
