I believe the Arca provides an attractive alternative solution for those riding heavier boards and simply do not want to be carrying anything else on their back when out for rides.
Yeah I’ve had that happen but I for sure can attribute to leaving sharp or point stuff in that pocket. Over the course of 6 monthes to a year on each bag.
My Maxi still going strong after two ish years, but I dont use the laptop pocket as much. I could see it as a point of failure though cause the pockets more suspended and the material/stitching is thinner on the interior so if you have a heavier or more angular laptop it would stress that seam more than a bag with the pouch linked with the base.

Sorry to see that. We actually looked in to reinforcing all the pockets and the stitching around those areas especially for our later batches.

Not locker friendly for tall boards though I think my board would either just barely fit in there or be too tall.
Jokes aside, would you guys ever consider doing a collaboration bag with another company? The overall shape of your bag is very similar to the K9 Sport Sack Plus 2 model and I could see the two bags possibly working well together. You’d need to ditch all the internal dividers and pouches but you’d gain dog carrying compatibility.
You’d use it for dog transportation while on the board and then once at your destination the dog walks on their own and the board gets to be carried. The leftover space that used to hold dog could then be used for any gear including helmets
I know this is super niche but I thought of it and had to bring it up since it is such a good idea for the few people on here who use the K9 Sport Sack. If it wasn’t so hard to source good quality textiles for a bag it would have been something I just try and make for myself as a one off item
This is great to hear about a new Arca. I love mine although the attachment straps on the bottom have come apart in a few places. I’ll have to check out a replacement. @Grievor will orders placed right now ship the new version?
Sounds interesting. The thing is with our backpacks is that we have a rigid back panel that serves as a base to strap the board to. This limits the comfort level of having your K9 when they are sitting inside. It will require some customization and experimentation for sure. But cool concept to consider down the road.
