onsra, boundmotor, and omni have them iirc

Anyone make metal ones larger than 44T?

not that i’m aware of

They are Radium pulleys

Not my finest work, but making use of what i’ve got!

Its a super tight fit in the box so will be a detached bms setup .

Getting close now!

the whole other row opposite you was also on the same outlet. there were two outlets both rows were on the one 20A circuit. the second outlet was 30A but wasn’t on, and i was too much in a rush. pretty sure it was just GFCI triggered.

nice DIY bro. :stuck_out_tongue:

There definitely wasn’t nearly enough power. Our charger kept shutting off and we had to go to the chicago guys to steal their power to charge Dylans board😑

You ride the Mad Wheels yet? I definitely want to hear an opinion of them on M1. I have a set hanging around that I could pop on, but I’m riding the stock 125 wheels first to get a feel for them. They’re super responsive and grippy and feel great on good surfaces, but when cruising around on my city’s not-so-pristine roads I’m wondering if the Mads will just feel better.

18wh/km slow cruise on madwheels, nothing else changed. Pretty significant difference for anyone doubting the ineffiency of the radium wheels *cough @sugandese *

It depends what you like really… im a die hard thane fan, for me the madwheels are a total win over the radium wheels.

But the radium wheels definitely have the advantage on rough/shitty/off road.

And speed. The radium wheels feel awesome at speed.

Lol anecdotal… other guy only had 4wh difference.

How many people do you need to see getting significantly different consumptions before you will take it as a data point that the radium wheels are relatively inefficient compared to other wheels?

Or are you just trolling?

Yeah 24 and 20… fuck all between them. I dunno man I still don’t believe theyre that bad. Didn’t pay super close attention to it but the v1’s are softer aren’t they? And they didn’t use any more than landsurfs on my board. Let’s say im trolling so Pedro makes a new meme

I feel like the new ones are less efficient than the v1s, but have no way of validating that.

Radium’s in a smaller diameter would be a nice option also like 105-115mm and a little narrower.
120mm V1 and the 125mm V4 are big high grip wheels with very large road contact that will suck some juice.
The v1’s I’m using roll over anything so comfortably. Although you can feel they are big (larger mass)wheels and they grip like shit to a blanket, I imagine the V4 have a similar feel.

To me the v1s felt lighter and more efficient than the v4s.

For now the madwheels will do me just fine until the v5s come along :smiling_imp:

Range test! Got 45km to soft cutoff on the mads, vs 32km to soft cutoff on the v4s. Pretty happy with that!!! Should be easy to achieve 100 with the tower of terror!

Was also the first ride with DeeP BeeF! Super happy with how it performed, the finger loop is a total game changer :ok_hand::ok_hand::ok_hand: also put it through a little stress test, bottomed out on a gutter and smacked the remote into the ground… scratched but other than that all good

Should probably keep track of how many rides i get in on it before the battery dies

Was a ripper arvo!
