What are you guys liking best for AT Tires? I’m running the evolve 7" AT wheels/tires now but they just don’t have the bite needed when riding on dirt pack / mountain bike trails. Any good options out there?
Cheers

you need a mountainboard
Little known secret, the best offroad tires you can buy (in my tested opinion) are also the cheapest. Aliexpress and they’re phenomenal. You just have to wait a few weeks to get them.
Been using harbor freight 8.5 pinkish red tire seems comfortable and holds my weight.
this interests me, do you have a link?
Samesies. What hubs are you using too?
I might try this for the hell of it, that looks fun
Ill be honest i have done a lot of dirt track on these and street ofcourse. They are soft so i use green slime to avoid punctures when off roading. I haven’t jumped these yet so still more testing needs to be done. But they are a lil bit big so you get the extra mph.
Gimme high pressure every day. I have Urban Treadz on stock Evolve hubs at 70 psi and they haven’t crushed yet. Even using the Evolve inner tubes. Works on dirt/gravel paths and rolls a long time on asphalt.
Do they work on standard 8“ hubs or you need the 9“ ones? You have mbs fivestar hubs, so both work, but others are limited to one size.
Real men ride pink harbor freight wheels.
They are 2hairs larger diameter than my mbs 5stars but they work perfectly. i have rockstar II also but they are just a lil small so i wouldn’t suggest it on those. I would suggest 9in rim if you have it but it should fit most 8in no problems.
And don’t forget it!!! Haha
I like the Trampa Primo alphas but haven’t tried anything else to compare with. They grip very well offroad @ low psi
I have the primo on my board right now and they more soft but also more slippery over the ones @Venom121212 linked.
What hubs are you using with these?
Are those better than Primo? Right now the only experience I have is Primo so I have no data at all to go off on my next tyre choice
For me they grip better and last like 3x+ longer than the primo. They have a hard compound, so it might be not everybody’s choice. I run the primos because I need blue color for the summer when they done i‘m going back to the cheap Ali’s.
