All-terrain E-freeboard

Carbon enclosure in the making.

That would be a good idea if you’re afraid of interference, so I might.

I’m no stranger for other wheels. Would love to try the Hoyt St 5" Pneumatic Tires.

Good job on the carbon Peter! I would love to try and make some parts myself one day. Can we expect a first test run coming days? Are you complete on all the electronics?

Thanks! The main thing that I learned from the first enclosure is to have a really good first mold, smooth and strong. I already knew that but did try to take a shortcut with a MDF mold that didn’t hold up.

Hopefully the first test run will be this week!

First ride couldn’t be better, feels like powder and the motormount holds up great, thanks to you my man @Leen! Also big thanks to big boss @mackann for the help and support to finalizing the setup.

Hell yeah! Nice work dude. Is it riding like you imagined it would? What’s next?

Thanks! The riding is more smooth that I expected, really easy to start and ride in low speeds. The height of the deck also feels natural with the super wide trucks from Bioboards. All good so far.

I’m trying to ride the board as much as I can, and taking it to the extreme to find it’s week spots. Maybe also try different wheels depending on the durability of the Cloud wheels.

I think the cloud wheels will be fine, centerwheels don’t wear out that quick. After +/- 400 km of riding with my eovan RS105 wheels can’t see any wear yet. :ok_hand::grin:

I’ve flipped the MBS edge wheels because they are worn down and they made to much contact with the street resulting in being to grippy when doing a 360 (you get stuck halfway the spin :face_with_hand_over_mouth::sweat_smile:).

Those MBS cores are not centered BTW so I’m riding on a smaller stance now after the flip. It is a little less stable than normal but OK enough.

Looking great! Rocks keeping out of the belts? (M5 teeth helps I bet) would be great to get a close up shot of plowing into some gravel to see just how well increased wheel size handle super soft ground.

I think I got some good gravel shots in the new video, not really close but close.
