Akadi ultra light mini cruiser | Blitzart 36" | 9" Caliber | 76mm Akasha | 10s1p 40T | FS 4.12 | 5065

Update day!!!

Finished the 10s1p 40T pack and got a FS antispark in there because I don’t like loop keys, everything got crammed into an old style Meepo battery enclosure with barely room to spare and temp taped in place. Will ride and charge tomorrow probably

though I miss your penny deck - it was probably ridiculous to balance on that for any lengthy distance. I have found my ideal wheelbase to be 16"-20"… 16 for supermarket runs, 20 for the long distance rides.
A mini kicktail was always useful.

I definitely wish I could still have used it, possibly if it was a little wider? I know nickel boards are a good size for me but this one is actually easier to carry

How much does it weigh overall?

In its current state (everything but 4 screws and the waterproofing), it’s 12.00 pounds on the dot…would have been maybe a pound less if it was on the penny deck

Update day!

Swapped for 90mm Senor Pepe wheels and a Loaded Tesseract deck…best choice so far. Learning to dance is fucking hard

Still waiting for Meepo to get me that enclosure…

I spend like 3 hours making room in here with a shitty file and a dull knife…god I miss my Dremel

But like it fits!! although I may have to redo everything because I picked up a FOCBox

As promised, how the FocBox layout will go!

  • 10s1p P42A flat pack
  • Enertion FocBox 1.6
  • Daly 10s BMS
  • Flipsky 100A antispark

I’d like to route the wires into the deck when I do this upgrade just so it’s neater, but until I finish the other boards it will keep the Flipsky 4.12

This is one of many reasons I suggest to epoxy the male connectors through the enclosure.

As a heads up this board has been sold off, there will be no further progress updates. However I’ll be happy to answer questions from making it!
