Adding USB port?

Ok that’s cool, I’m going to get a buck converter

Gotta admit that’s pretty smart

Wait how do I connect the battery? Add some wires onto the main battery wires?

I think something like this is what you want

You would ideally want to make a connection through the bms
1 on terminal of battery/1 on bms
Or
Both on bms (some have the discharge terminal being used)
And add a fuse to the wire, you wouldn’t want the battery to randomly send a jolt into your remote or phone battery.
The one @ducktaperules mentions is great for your needs. No tweaking, no different components to add to each other, just add a fuse, solder to power, and place in a convenient location

Hmmm ok. I’ll look at that one. Where do those wires go? Directly on the power wires?

That’s cool. However, they don’t ship to United States, and isn’t 3A a lot?

It’s a rating. Means you can pull 3a without it blowing up

This is a single usb output but same principle

Ok that’s cool although it’ll take at least a month to deliver

I’ll try and find one hold on

Also I’m not making my battery. I mean I could ask my builder to add wires but I don’t want to complicate anything

If your builder can’t add 2 wires, start doubting his skills :joy:

Haha I haven’t asked yet, I’ll ask and let you know

Anyone has some pictures of housing the female usb port to the enclosure?

I would just epoxy it in there. I have no photos though. Not of USB ports anyway…
