Adaptation vs. Purpose Built, how it applies to ESK8

I’m not sure what you’re saying. My RC’s are accurate and immediate and I find myself looking for that in an eboard.

What I think you’re saying is you like more ‘exponential’ or deadness off center on the ‘stick’ or thumb wheel (slow to react in acceleration and brake).

I sometimes dial this into my RC planes and heli’s, but at the end of the day the better I get with stick control the less expo I dial in (and the more fun it gets).

What I’m saying is combining immediacy with massive power on uncensored motors is a recipe for disaster, talking from experience riding dual Max6 for a year on 8S Graphenes and 6374 motors.

Max6 didn’t give enough adjustability to tame this, even at punch level 5, and I doubt Max5 will be any different. What you need, is to be able to adjust throttle and brake curves, like on the Mamba XLX.

It doesn’t seem like you’ve had Max6 or Max5 under your feet yet. Wear a helmet and padding when you do please.

It’s called expo. You can dial it in with any quality rx/tx. No need to worry about your esc power delivery. Sounds like an opportunity in esk8 market…

We just brought this thread detour back on track

And for those that want a quick video tutorial:

Level 5 is strongest punch level
