Coolio, headed home where I can use calipers and actual hardware/models for reference. All that mock up was from memory with no outside reference. #therewasanattempt.
No work in AM. Promise to not hunt patrol cars.
I bent my S2 bindings. Fixed.
Someone asked me recently where they could buy one. Does this look like something anyone would sell?
Bioboards/lacroix/trampa would get them going down the right track pretty quick at least but yeah. Not found on store shelves haha.
I still have your freebord bindings laying around
I’ve got an extra set of YoBis if you need them.
@DEEIF, I’m good, thanks.
@Bobby, if you’re not using them, I could use a less bent up pair.
I decided to play around with these. 40$ for 4 titanium axles ain’t bad.

I lost my Apple Pencil. I might just suck it up and use an old fashioned computer to model the rest of the plates.
“$20/set”
Is a set 4 or 2 axles?
20$ for each truck (2 wheels).
40$ for 4 wheels, 1 skateboard.
My 44 redember riser for lipo shenanigans was looking rough so I gave it an acetone bath with the intent of refinishing it. That was a mistake.
After several evenings, it was patched and epoxied and wrapped in CF for funsies. Why do I need this riser?, because this is stupid:
k00k approved science
Was that (formerly) CF? Epoxy I’m used to being chemically stable, but I haven’t played with polyurethane, which is more …reactive
It was a two part resin. “Sharkthane”. Sets in 5 mins, cures in 1-2 hrs.
It’s good until it’s not. Don’t get any ideas about using it to make htd wheel pulleys.
It’s expensive (140$) and unless u hit the streets and find a composite specialist in person, good luck getting it shipped.
Not that I’ll be getting any, but how’s the smell?
UScomposites is my go to for resin
Is there a story here? 70D seems hard enough to work, but soft enough to wear pretty quick, so maybe heat and starting to ooze?
Short track? Long track it might be a month or two… maybe three…
I’ll bring 1 pack to a short track and be a good sport about losing hard.
I’m okay with 3rd on mid length.
Wide open long streets with several laps draw me out.
Those 3 links somehow tolerate both lengths. I don’t know how.
No smell. I made remote shells out of it.
I thought it would be inert to acetone post cure. It’s not.
I’m up for this once I get something that won’t top out in 15ft back up to 45mph should be soon, according to @yelnats8j. If that’s still not enough then I’ll be up at @ahrav gearing soon once the other board gets started, well and finished.
