I already did and it was stupid. HFI didn’t work at all. 1esc per 1 motor the only working option.

Yes I mean HFI using 1 ESC per motor but set at a really low erpm
But that would be so loud, I’ll spook pedestrians. I would just as soon use spur gears.
Volume matters to me bc this is a daily driver in tourist heavy spots.
Tourist and birdscooters spook like horses. They will veer toward you despite that being the worst action to take.

Negative, the HFI is only running when you are like below 0.5mph (0.8km/h)
Then it’s dead silent. Try it out
Lower the erpm to 750
Also I don’t think much about eight motors is going to be quiet

This is a fail if you thought I was cheating with a shoulder bolt.
TLDR: buy 10mm pulleys from real vendors. Mboards is not real. Don’t try to cut your own from 8mm ID pulleys.

If you put those motor mounts on a direct drive hanger system, could you use 12 motors instead? Certainly 12 motors is faster than a laughable skate that only has eight motors.

I just need to. It isn’t practical, I don’t think it will race well on a short course. I cannot use all that power either. Maxed out 4 motor boards on the best of current diy gear is more than most folks actually need or use.

I’m Low key jelly of @Crazypony and his disciples’ pretty, professional Looking builds. I always seem to start with the plan of trying to be the fanciest dame at the ball, but then 4 hrs deep into cutting my own pulleys, I ask, “will this blemish kill me or just rile the forum folks?”
